you lot removed the sd carte from the camera, and plugged it into the computer?

Re: Video file not institute when plugged into iMac

Yes, I know that but the video files are non showing up. Trying to find out if it's a setting in the Sony A7II that I need to set up so Mac OS can read it.

Re: Video file not found when plugged into iMac

i mentioned it with a usb card reader, as opposed to plugging the camera itself into the computer.

can you come across any folders on the bill of fare? the actual video files will be on a subdirectory.

You need to know where on the SD carte du jour the videos are stored

There's no setting - I shoot video on an A7II, A7 and A6000, and load them with and edit them on a MacBook Pro.

You need to know where the Sonys store video. It'south not obvious.

If yous put your SD carte du jour in a Mac, you will see these folders:

The however shots (jpegs and raw) are in DCIM. If y'all shoot MP4 video, it will be stored in the 100ANV01 folder

At present, if you didn't select MP4 in the menu, your videos will be stored in a single file in the Private folder

When you lot click on AVCHD, you lot will run across the private clips:

You lot can click on the private clips, and download them for editing.

Expert luck!
